What do you think of when you hear "Minnesota"? The artist formerly known as Prince? Stevie Nicks? Bob Dylan? Information Society? Husker Du? Soul Asylum? Babes In Toyland? Walter Mondale? Hubert H Humphrey? Cows? Mosquitoes? Ten thousand lakes? Ten thousand taxes? A bunch of white folks who all have the same weird accent that all the actors on TV have? The TV show Coach? Frostbite Falls from Rocky and Bullwinkle? Mary Tyler Moore throwing her hat in the air? Dear Abby? Ann Landers? The Vikings? The Twins? The Timberwolves? The Lakers? The North Stars? The Mighty Ducks? Two sports stars named Greg Gagne? Kirby Puckett? Speed traps? Tonka Toys? Spam? Road construction? A huge friggin' mall? The Mayo clinic? A gambling mecca that funnels billions of dollars to the American Indians? General Mills? Honeywell? Cray? 3M? The big flat space between New York and California that's under ten feet of snow for half the year?

If you're visiting Minnesota, you may want to check out the University of Minnesota, go shopping at one of the many malls (including the Mall of America, the largest mall in the US), take in the annual Aquatennial Festival, play a round of golf (we have more golf courses and more golfers per capita than any other state), or just go bar-hopping at one of the many Minnesota BrewPubs. If it's Easter weekend, be sure to check out the Minicon SciFi Convention. We're known for our annoyingly bland food, but feel free to check out some of the local dining establishments (such as the August Moon Restaurant).
