Welcome to OttoBlog#10890.

The usual disclaimers: I don't read RSPW anymore since there's far too much "fluff" to wade through to find anything useful, so some of this may be repeated info.

Steve Austin will be wrestling in Europe for the next three weeks. Brian Pillman will be wrestling in Japan for three weeks after that. Then (as I reported last week) they will reform the Hollywood Blonds in the US in WCW as a stipulation for Austin re-signing and doing the recent job for Renegade.

Marcus Alexander Bagwell signed on for another two years with WCW. His current tag team partner Del "Patriot" Wilkes gave his notice to WCW, so either MAB will wrestle singles or will be paired up with a new partner.

Dustin Rhodes is still negotiating with the WWF. He is pushing hard to keep his name instead of getting a Vincified trademarkable name (hey--it worked for Bob Holly (after Vince changed his name a few times)).

Vince was expecting to lose $5,000,000 in 1994 because of the steroid trial and other legal expenses, so was "happy" to report that the WWF "only" lost $3,000,000. Since it is not a publically traded stock, there is no way to check the figures.

Vince also claims that In Your House pulled in 200,000-250,000 buys. Industry sources estimate it to be closer to a 0.8 buyrate.

Paul Heyman still hasn't declared bankruptcy. ECW wrestlers and creditors are now beinig payed by HHG Inc. No one has ever heard of HHG. Tod Gordon is distancing himself from ECW, so it doesn't look good for the Most Dangerous Promotion in North America.
