Fond du Lac man sues professional wrestler 'X-Pac' for $500,000

A professional wrestler from Minnesota is being sued for a half million dollars by a Fond du Lac man who claims the wrestler attacked him on the Fourth of July at Wisconsin Dells.

Sean M. Waltman, known as "X-Pac" to World Wrestling Federation (WWF) fans, allegedly assaulted Elias Urbina, 80 Prairie Road, Apt. 1, during an incident just before midnight July 4 at Riverview Waterpark.

Urbina, represented by Milwaukee attorney Alan Eisenberg, filed the civil suit Monday in Columbia County Circuit Court in Portage.

Eisenberg said Urbina's family members from Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana met at the waterpark for a family outing.

Members of the group, he said, are World Wrestling Federation fanatics.

"They know all the wrestlers and all the (other) players on sight," Eisenberg said. "They're walking along and who do they come across? This ... freak (X-Pac)."

Urbina decided to ask for an autograph, and his family members stood ready, waiting to capture the moment with their cameras.

"He hit him (Urbina) with a left and then a right and then a left and then a right until he beat him to the ground," Eisenberg said. "He used a scissor-kick choke-hold that he's famous for and continued to beat him to a bloody pulp."

The complaint says Waltman, of Ramsey, Minn., "intentionally committed an assault and battery upon the plaintiff (Urbina) by maliciously attacking" him at Riverview Waterpark.

It says Urbina suffered personal injuries about the body, including his face, throat and right ankle.

Cuts, lacerations, abrasions and bruises were inflicted upon Urbina by Waltman, according to the complaint, and caused Urbina to seek emergency medical attention, including surgery.

The alleged injuries caused Urbina to lose six weeks of work, as well as financial losses due to medical expenses.

Urbina is requesting a jury trial.

He is seeking a judgment of $250,000 for compensatory, consequential and incidental damages and an additional $250,000 in punitive damages.

He also is asking for statutory costs, interest and attorney fees.

Waltman has 45 days to respond to the complaint.

X-Pac, who is a member of "D-Generation X," is a tag-team partner to Kane, also known as the "Big Red Machine."

X-Pac previously has been known as the "Lightning Kid," "Sykx Pac Kid," and the "1-2-3 Kid."

One area fan described X-Pac as between 180 and 190 pounds with long, black, greasy hair.

The fan said X-Pac is "brash and arrogant" and known for causing trouble.

Eisenberg said he thinks X-Pac is "one can short of a six-pack."

"I'm going to personally challenge Mr. X-Pac to a duel," Eisenberg said. "When I get through with him, he won't be X-Pac, he'll be X-lax."
