Here is a picture of me just inside the Target Center prior to the March 22 1997 WCW card. The shirt I'm wearing is an NPW shirt, as one of the better indies at that time was Northern Premier Wrestling.
I know. I know. I should really crop this picture down since it is just HUUUUGE.

Here is a picture of Kevin Sullivan and Chris Benoit as they battled about a foot from my face. Benoit was really putting the hurt on Kevin, but Benoit had just tumbled down about 20 or 30 stairs in the insane bump he had been perfecting at house shows across the country. They were just about to head back to the ring at this point. This is one of my favorite pictures from the night's card.

This is a picture I took when the Chris Benoit vs Kevin Sullivan match left the ringside area and headed through the crowd to the concession stand. I was using my left hand to keep the kids next to me from getting hit while I snapped pictures with my right hand.
This was just after the long stretch of "bathroom brawl" matches and before Sullivan lost the retirement match.

This is a picture taken just after Ric Flair (who had been off WCW TV for a few months due to a shoulder injury) showed up to save Chris Benoit from a gang attack.
Flair got a huge pop from his (old) hometown crowd. For those who don't know Ric's background, he spent the first ten or so years of his life just a few blocks from the Edina Country Club. The next ten or so years he lived on the other side of Edina. Ric's dad still lives in Edina, and is a (retired?) physician. Ric now calls Charlotte, NC home, but the fans in Minnesota will never let him forget his roots.

Here is a picture of Public Enemy Johnny Grunge getting in my face.
This was part of their pre-match ritual. They had just brought a table to ringside and set it up (unfortunately on the far side of the ring from where I was sitting).

This is a picture of Public Enemy Johnny Grunge waving in the air prior to his tag match. He and Rocco Rock were trying to get the crowd to do the "Cabbage Patch" dance, and most of the humanoids obliged.
I have a (distant) picture of TPE going through the table. I may upload it by the end of the year if I run out of other pictures to scan.

Here is a picture of Lex Luger posing on the ring ropes before his match.
I'm drawing a blank on who it was that he was fighting this evening, but he got a major pop from the Minnesota crowd (estimated at between 9000 and 10000).

This is a picture of Rey Misterio Jr after being dumped on the outside. This was on the side of the ring that I was nearest.
I have another picture that I believe is the bit where he leapfrogs over referee Mark Curtis, over the top rope, and onto his opponent (who is on the arena floor).
